Hello I would like to introduce myself after one year of lurking!!

Hello, I have been lurking around on IM for over a year now, asking one or two questions and getting really useful replies.

I realise I never introduced myself, so here goes. I am a 59 year old divorced English woman, living and working in France. I love to travel (always alone) and have been dreaming about India for a long time.

My great passion is dogs (I bred Basset Hounds for 20 years and worked in a rescue kennel) and animals in general.

So, I am going to India in 10 days. Thanks to all the fantastic information on IM I have my visa, train e-tickets, hotels in Delhi and Varanasi (with pick-up, vaccins, ear plugs, duct tape round a pencil, blue tack for plugs, toe covered sandles, long loose tops and baggie bottoms, sports bra (for camel safari), photos of home and family, steripen, torch, immodium, T.P., silk sleep sack and a sense of humour. What have I forgotten?:laugh:
