 I'm going in circles but not the one I want! Kolkata -Varanasi-Darjeeling Hi , I am trying to plan an itenerary for 4 youngsters in our late 50's for a trip that starts in Kolkata and takes in bot Varanasi and Darjeeling. We have about 2 weeks and I was wondering if any kind forumite could suggest: . which direction to start in . modes of travel, overnight train is preferred, but perhaps a car between Varanasi and Darjeeling? . any intersting places between e,g a friendly homestay smething like the Rose Garden Homestay in Munnar sounds . great food . off the beateb track type experiences Thank you so much for past information and sharing in your experiences.
