 Trek to Gangotri, Tapovan & Nandanvan Hi, I'm a new member to this IndiaMike family and I am from Kolkata, India. I am planning a trek this July end to the Gangotri, Tapovan area along with one of my friends. Can someone help me with the following - 1. Is July end a good time to go for trekking in that region? I am worried about the monsoon rains. 2. Will I get to walk on and touch snow during this time of the year there? 3. Where from will I be able to do all my bookings viz. porter/guide, tents, vehicle etc. I have seen many threads on this here, but I am not sure if they contain up-to-date info.
